The day of trumpet blasts
1On the first day of the seventh month you are to hold a holy assembly and do none of your ordinary work. It is a day for you when loud blasts are sounded. 2Offer a burnt offering as a soothing aroma for the LORD: one young bull, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old, without defect. 3Their grain offering is to be fine flour mixed with oil: about 6 quarts for the bull, about 4 quarts for the ram, 4and about 2 quarts for each of the seven lambs. 5Offer also one male goat as a sin offering, to make atonement for you, 6in addition to the burnt offering of the new moon with its grain offering, and the regular burnt offering with its grain offering, and their drink offerings, as prescribed for them. They are a soothing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.
