Offerings for the dedication of the altar

¹On the day Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, when he had anointed and consecrated it and all its furnishings, and had anointed and consecrated the altar and all its utensils, ²the leaders of Israel, the heads of their ancestral families, brought offerings. This was the offering of Nethanel son of Zuar.

²⁴On the third day it was the turn of Eliab son of Helon, the leader of the people of Zebulun. ²⁵His offering was one silver dish weighing about 3 1/4 pounds and one silver basin weighing about 1 3/4 pounds by the sanctuary standard, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, ²⁶one gold pan weighing about 4 ounces, full of incense, ²⁷one young bull, one ram, and one year-old male lamb for a burnt offering, ²⁸one male goat for a sin offering, ²⁹and for the sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five year-old male lambs. ³⁰On the fourth day it was the turn of Elizur son of Shedeur, the leader of the people of Reuben. ³¹His offering was one silver dish weighing about 3 1/4 pounds and one silver basin weighing about 1 3/4 pounds by the sanctuary standard, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, ³²one gold pan weighing about 4 ounces, full of incense, ³³one young bull, one ram, and one year-old male lamb for a burnt offering, ³⁴one male goat for a sin offering, ³⁵and for the sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five year-old male lambs. ³⁶On the fifth day it was the turn of Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai, the leader of the people of Simeon. ³⁷His offering was one silver dish weighing about 3 1/4 pounds and one silver basin weighing about 1 3/4 pounds by the sanctuary standard, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, ³⁸one gold pan weighing about 4 ounces, full of incense, ³⁹one young bull, one ram, and one year-old male lamb for a burnt offering, ⁴⁰one male goat for a sin offering, ⁴¹and for the sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five year-old male lambs. ⁷²On the eleventh day it was the turn of Pagiel son of Ochran, the leader of the people of Asher. ⁷³His offering was one silver dish weighing about 3 1/4 pounds and one silver basin weighing about 1 3/4 pounds by the sanctuary standard, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, ⁷⁴one gold pan weighing about 4 ounces, full of incense, ⁷⁵one young bull, one ram, and one year-old male lamb for a burnt offering, ⁷⁶one male goat for a sin offering, ⁷⁷and for the sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five year-old male lambs. The total of the leaders’ offerings

⁸⁴This was the offering from the leaders of Israel for the dedication of the altar at the time it was anointed: twelve silver dishes, twelve silver basins and twelve gold pans, ⁸⁵each silver dish weighing about 3 1/4 pounds and each basin about 1 3/4 pounds, so that the silver of all the vessels came to about 60 pounds by the sanctuary standard, ⁸⁶and the twelve gold pans full of incense, each weighing about 4 ounces by the sanctuary standard, so that all the gold of the pans came to about 3 pounds. ⁸⁷All the animals for the burnt offering were twelve bulls, twelve rams and twelve year-old male lambs, with their grain offering, and there were twelve male goats for a sin offering, ⁸⁸and all the animals for the sacrifice of peace offerings were twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty male goats and sixty year-old male lambs. This was the offering for the dedication of the altar after it was anointed. ⁸⁹When Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with him, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim.
