Send out your light and truth

1Give judgment for me, God, and take up my case against a nation without loyalty; save me from people who lie and do wrong. 2For You are God, my fortress. Why have You pushed me away? Why do I walk about dressed in grief while the enemy presses me hard? 3Let Your light and Your truth go out to guide me; may they lead me up to Your holy mountain, to the place where You live. 4Then I will come up to God’s altar, to God, who is my gladness and my joy, and with the lyre I will give You thanks, God, my God. 5Why are you bent so low, my soul? Why this unrest inside me? Wait for God in hope; I will give Him thanks again, the one who saves me, my God.
