Calm like a weaned child
1A song of ascents. Of David. LORD, there is no pride in my heart, no arrogance in my eyes. I do not go after things too great for me, or too wonderful for me to grasp. 2Instead, I have made myself calm and quiet, like a child past nursing age resting on its mother; I am calm within, like that child. 3Israel, wait in hope for the LORD, from now on and forever.
