Creation greets its coming Judge
1A psalm. \q Sing the LORD a new song because of the wonders he has done! \q By his own right hand and his holy arm he has won the victory. 2The LORD has let his saving power be known; \q he has shown his justice openly for the nations to see. 3He has kept in mind his loyal love and faithfulness toward the people of Israel; \q the farthest places on earth have seen \q how our God saves. 4Raise a glad shout to the LORD, all the earth; \q burst into joyful song and make music! 5Make music for the LORD on the lyre, \q the lyre and the voice of song! 6With trumpets and the ram’s horn sounding, \q lift a glad shout before the King, the LORD. 7Let the sea and everything in it thunder, \q the world and everyone living there. 8May the rivers clap their hands, \q and the mountains all sing for joy together, 9in the presence of the LORD, for he is on the way to judge the earth. \q He will govern the world rightly \q and the peoples with fairness.
