the LORD guards your going and coming
1A song of ascents. I look up to the mountains. Where will my help come from? 2My help is from the LORD, the one who made heaven and earth. 3May he never let your foot stumble; may the one who guards you never doze.a 4Indeed, the one who guards Israel never dozes off and never sleeps. 5The LORD is the one who guards you; The LORD is shade at your right side. 6By day the sun will not beat down on you, and by night the moon will do you no harm. 7The LORD will guard you against every harm; he will guard your very life. 8The LORD will guard you as you set out and as you return, from now on and for all time.
