A new song for all the earth
1Sing a new song to the LORD! \q All the earth, sing to the LORD! 2Raise your song to the LORD; bless his name. \q Day after day announce the good news of how he saves. 3Tell the nations of his glory, \q and all the peoples of the wonders he has done. 4For the LORD is great and worthy of the highest praise; \q he must be revered above every god. 5For every god the peoples serve is a mere nothing, an idol, \q but it was the LORD who made the heavens. 6Splendor and majesty stand in his presence; \q strength and beauty fill his holy place. 7Give the LORD what is due, you families of the nations; \q give the LORD glory and might. 8Give the LORD the glory his name deserves; \q bring a gift and enter his courts. 9Bow low before the LORD in holy splendor; \q tremble in his presence, all the earth.a 10Tell the nations, “The LORD is King! \q The world stands firm; nothing can make it totter. \q He will judge the peoples fairly.” 11Let the heavens be full of joy and the earth be glad; \q let the sea thunder with all that lives in it. 12Let the fields and everything in them celebrate; \q then every tree in the woods will cry out with joy, 13in the presence of the LORD, for he is on the way, on the way to judge the earth. \q He will bring justice to the world \q and judge its peoples by his own faithfulness.
