The nations born in Zion

¹Of the sons of Korah. A psalm. A song. \q The city he founded stands on the holy mountains. ²The gates of Zion are dearer to the LORD \q than all the places where Jacob’s people live. ³City of God, \q splendid things are said of you. Selah ⁴“Among those who know me I will name Rahab and Babylon; \q see Philistia and Tyre, and Cush as well: \q ‘This one was born there.’” ⁵And of Zion people will say, “Every one of them was born in her,” \q and it is the Most High who will make her secure. ⁶As the LORD lists the peoples in his record, \q he will write, “This one was born there.” Selah ⁷Those who sing and those who dance will say, \q “All my springs rise in you.”
