The nations born in Zion
1Of the sons of Korah. A psalm. A song. \q The city he founded stands on the holy mountains. 2The gates of Zion are dearer to the LORD \q than all the places where Jacob’s people live. 3City of God, \q splendid things are said of you. Selah 4“Among those who know me I will name Rahab and Babylon; \q see Philistia and Tyre, and Cush as well: \q ‘This one was born there.’” 5And of Zion people will say, “Every one of them was born in her,” \q and it is the Most High who will make her secure. 6As the LORD lists the peoples in his record, \q he will write, “This one was born there.” Selah 7Those who sing and those who dance will say, \q “All my springs rise in you.”
