God goes up as King of all the earth
1For the music director. Of the sons of Korah. A psalm. 2All you peoples, clap your hands! Raise a shout to God with ringing cries of joy! 3For the LORD Most High inspires awe; he is the great King who rules the whole earth. 4He brings peoples under our rule and lays nations at our feet. 5He picked out our heritage for us, the glory of Jacob, the one he loved. Selah 6God has gone up amid shouting; the LORD has gone up as the ram’s horn sounds. 7Make music to God, make music! Make music to our King, make music! 8For God reigns as King of all the earth; make music with a skillful psalm. 9God now rules as King over the nations; upon his holy throne God sits. 10The princes of the peoples come together to be the people of Abraham’s God. For the shields of the earth are God’s; he is raised high above all.a
