God judges the gods
1A psalm of Asaph. \q God takes his stand in the divine assembly; \q he gives judgment among the gods.a 2“How long will you judge unfairly \q and take the side of the wicked? Selah 3Judge fairly for the weak and for orphans; \q declare the afflicted and the destitute in the right. 4Bring the weak and the poor to safety; \q snatch them from the grip of the wicked. 5They have no knowledge and no understanding; \q they wander around in the dark, \q and the earth’s foundations all totter. 6I myself said, ‘You are gods; \q every one of you is a son of the Most High.’b 7Yet you will die as human beings die, \q and fall like any one of the princes.” 8Rise up, God, judge the earth, \q since every nation belongs to you.
