God judges the gods

¹A psalm of Asaph. \q God takes his stand in the divine assembly; \q he gives judgment among the gods.^{a 2}“How long will you judge unfairly \q and take the side of the wicked? Selah ³Judge fairly for the weak and for orphans; \q declare the afflicted and the destitute in the right. ⁴Bring the weak and the poor to safety; \q snatch them from the grip of the wicked. ⁵They have no knowledge and no understanding; \q they wander around in the dark, \q and the earth’s foundations all totter. ⁶I myself said, ‘You are gods; \q every one of you is a son of the Most High.’^{b 7}Yet you will die as human beings die, \q and fall like any one of the princes.” ⁸Rise up, God, judge the earth, \q since every nation belongs to you.
