  1. 사사기 1:1

After Joshua died, the Israelites asked the LORD, “Which of us should go up first to fight against the Canaanites?”

  2. 사사기 1:2

The LORD answered, “Judah is to go up. I have handed the land over to them.”

  3. 사사기 1:4

When Judah went up, the LORD handed the Canaanites and the Perizzites over to them, and they defeated 10,000 men at Bezek.

  4. 사사기 1:19

The LORD was with Judah, and they took the hill country for their own. But they could not drive out the people who lived on the plain, because those people had iron chariots.

  5. 사사기 1:22

The house of Joseph also went up against Bethel, and the LORD was with them.

  6. 사사기 2:1

The angel of the LORD went up from Gilgal to Bochim. He said, “I brought you up from Egypt, and I brought you into the land I had promised on oath to your ancestors. I said, ‘I will never break my covenant with you,

  7. 사사기 2:4

As soon as the angel of the LORD finished speaking these words to all the Israelites, the people cried aloud and wept.

  8. 사사기 2:5

They named that place Bochim, and they offered sacrifices there to the LORD.

  9. 사사기 2:7

The people served the LORD all through Joshua’s lifetime, and through the lifetime of the elders who lived on after him and had seen every great deed the LORD had done for Israel.

  10. 사사기 2:8

Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at 110 years of age.

  11. 사사기 2:10

That whole generation also died and was gathered to their ancestors, and after them another generation grew up who did not know the LORD or what he had done for Israel.

  12. 사사기 2:11

Then the Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the LORD and served the Baals.

  13. 사사기 2:12

They abandoned the LORD, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt. They followed other gods, gods of the peoples who lived around them, and bowed down to them, and so they made the LORD angry.

  14. 사사기 2:13

They abandoned the LORD and served Baal and the Ashtaroth.

  15. 사사기 2:14

Then the anger of the LORD blazed against Israel, and he gave them into the power of raiders, who plundered them. He sold them into the power of the enemies who surrounded them, and they could no longer hold their ground against their enemies.

  16. 사사기 2:15

Every time they went out to fight, the hand of the LORD was against them to bring them disaster, just as the LORD had warned and had sworn to them. They were in great distress.

  17. 사사기 2:16

Then the LORD raised up judges, who rescued them from the power of those who plundered them.

  18. 사사기 2:17

Yet they would not listen even to their judges. They gave themselves like prostitutes to other gods and bowed down to them. They were quick to turn from the path their ancestors had walked, the path of obeying the commandments of the LORD; they did not do as their ancestors had done.

  19. 사사기 2:18

Whenever the LORD raised up a judge for them, the LORD was with that judge and saved them from the power of their enemies as long as the judge lived. For the LORD was moved to pity when they groaned under those who oppressed and tormented them.

  20. 사사기 2:20

Then the anger of the LORD blazed against Israel, and he said, “Since this nation has broken my covenant, which I commanded their ancestors to keep, and has not obeyed me,

  21. 사사기 2:22

so that through them I may test Israel, to see whether they will keep to the way of the LORD and walk in it as their ancestors did, or not.”

  22. 사사기 2:23

So the LORD let these nations remain. The LORD did not drive them out quickly, nor had he handed them over to Joshua.

  23. 사사기 3:1

These are the nations that the LORD left in the land to test Israel by them, that is, all those in Israel who had never known any of the wars for Canaan.

  24. 사사기 3:4

They were left to test Israel, to find out whether the Israelites would obey the commandments of the LORD, which he had given their ancestors through Moses.

  25. 사사기 3:7

The Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the LORD. They forgot the LORD their God, and they served the Baals and the Asherahs.

  26. 사사기 3:8

So the anger of the LORD blazed against Israel, and he sold them into the power of Cushan-rishathaim king of Aram-naharaim. The Israelites served Cushan-rishathaim for eight years.

  27. 사사기 3:9

Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD, and the LORD raised up a deliverer for them, who rescued them: Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother.

  28. 사사기 3:10

The Spirit of the LORD came on him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the LORD gave Cushan-rishathaim king of Aram into his power, so that he overpowered Cushan-rishathaim.

  29. 사사기 3:12

Once again the Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the LORD. So the LORD made Eglon king of Moab strong against Israel, because they had done what was evil in the sight of the LORD.

  30. 사사기 3:15

Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD, and the LORD raised up a deliverer for them: Ehud son of Gera, from the tribe of Benjamin, a left-handed man. The Israelites sent him to take their tribute to Eglon king of Moab.

  31. 사사기 3:28

He told them, “Follow me, because the LORD has handed your enemies the Moabites over to you.” So they went down after him and took control of the fords of the Jordan leading to Moab, and they let no one cross.

  32. 사사기 4:1

After Ehud had died, the Israelites again did what was evil in the sight of the LORD.

  33. 사사기 4:2

So the LORD sold them into the power of Jabin, king of Canaan, who ruled in Hazor. The commander of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth-hagoyim.

  34. 사사기 4:3

The Israelites cried out to the LORD, because Jabin had 900 iron chariots and had oppressed the Israelites harshly for twenty years.

  35. 사사기 4:6

She sent and called for Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali. She told him, “The LORD, the God of Israel, has given you this command: ‘Go, lead the way to Mount Tabor, and take 10,000 men from the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulun with you.

  36. 사사기 4:9

“I will certainly go with you,” she said. “But on the road you are taking, the honor will not be yours, for the LORD will hand Sisera over to a woman.” So Deborah set out with Barak for Kedesh.

  37. 사사기 4:14

Then Deborah said to Barak, “Up! This is the day when the LORD has given Sisera into your hand. Is it not the LORD who has gone out ahead of you?” So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with 10,000 men following him.

  38. 사사기 4:15

The LORD threw Sisera and all his chariots and all his army into panic before Barak’s attack with the sword. Sisera got down from his chariot and ran away on foot.

  39. 사사기 5:2

“When long hair hung loose in Israel, when the people volunteered freely, bless the LORD!

  40. 사사기 5:3

Listen, you kings; pay attention, you rulers! I will sing, I myself, to the LORD; I will make music to the LORD, the God of Israel.

  41. 사사기 5:4

LORD, when you set out from Seir, when you strode out from the land of Edom, the earth shook, the skies poured, the clouds poured down water.

  42. 사사기 5:5

The mountains quaked at the presence of the LORD, the One of Sinai, at the presence of the LORD, the God of Israel.

  43. 사사기 5:9

My heart is with the commanders of Israel, who volunteered freely among the people. Bless the LORD!

  44. 사사기 5:11

Over the voices of herders at the watering places, there they retell the righteous acts of the LORD, the righteous acts of his villagers in Israel. At that time the people of the LORD went down to their gates.

  45. 사사기 5:13

Then the survivors came down, the people, to join the nobles; the LORD came down for me against the mighty.

  46. 사사기 5:23

‘Curse Meroz,’ says the angel of the LORD; ‘curse its people bitterly, because they did not come to help the LORD, to stand with him against the warriors.’

  47. 사사기 5:31

So may all your enemies perish, LORD! But may those who love him be like the sun as it rises in its strength.” And the land had peace for forty years.

  48. 사사기 6:1

The Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD gave them into the power of Midian for seven years.

  49. 사사기 6:6

Israel was reduced to great poverty because of Midian, and the Israelites cried out to the LORD.

  50. 사사기 6:7

When the Israelites cried out to the LORD because of Midian,

  51. 사사기 6:8

the LORD sent a prophet to the Israelites, and he said to them, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘It was I who brought you up from Egypt and led you out of the house of slavery.

  52. 사사기 6:10

I said to you, “I am the LORD your God. You are not to fear the gods of the Amorites, though you live in their land.” But you have not listened to me.’”

  53. 사사기 6:11

Then the angel of the LORD came to Ophrah and sat down under the terebinth there, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite. Gideon, Joash’s son, was beating out wheat in the winepress so that the Midianites would not see it.

  54. 사사기 6:12

The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.”

  55. 사사기 6:13

Gideon answered him, “Pardon me, my lord, but if the LORD is with us, why has all this come upon us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?’ Now the LORD has abandoned us and handed us over to Midian.”

  56. 사사기 6:14

The LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this strength of yours, and you will save Israel from Midian’s power. Am I not the one sending you?”

  57. 사사기 6:16

The LORD answered him, “I will be with you, and you will strike down the Midianites as if they were one man.”

  58. 사사기 6:21

Then the angel of the LORD reached out the tip of the staff in his hand and touched the meat and the unleavened bread. Fire flared up from the rock and burned up the meat and the bread, and the angel of the LORD vanished from his sight.

  59. 사사기 6:22

When Gideon saw that it was the angel of the LORD, he cried out, “How terrible, Lord GOD! I have looked on the angel of the LORD face to face!”

  60. 사사기 6:23

But the LORD said to him, “Peace to you! Do not be afraid; you will not die.”

  61. 사사기 6:24

So Gideon built an altar to the LORD there and named it “The LORD Is Peace.” To this day it still stands in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

  62. 사사기 6:25

That same night the LORD said to him, “Take the young bull from your father’s herd, the second bull, the one seven years old. Tear down the altar of Baal that belongs to your father, and cut down the Asherah pole next to it.

  63. 사사기 6:26

Then build an altar to the LORD your God on top of this stronghold, laid out in the proper way. Take the second bull and offer it as a burnt offering, using the wood of the Asherah pole that you cut down.”

  64. 사사기 6:27

So Gideon took ten men from among his servants and did what the LORD had told him. But he was too afraid of his father’s family and the men of the town to do it by day, so he did it at night.

  65. 사사기 6:34

Then the Spirit of the LORD clothed Gideon. He blew the ram’s horn, and the Abiezrites were called out to follow him.

  66. 사사기 7:2

The LORD said to Gideon, “You have too many troops with you for me to hand Midian over to them. Israel would only boast against me and say, ‘Our own strength has saved us.’

  67. 사사기 7:4

But the LORD said to Gideon, “There are still too many troops. Take them down to the water. I will sift them there for you. When I tell you, ‘This one is to go with you,’ he will go with you. But when I tell you, ‘This one is not to go with you,’ he will not go.”

  68. 사사기 7:5

So Gideon took the troops down to the water, and the LORD said to him, “Put everyone who laps up the water with his tongue, the way a dog laps, in one group. Put everyone who kneels down to drink in another.”

  69. 사사기 7:7

Then the LORD said to Gideon, “With the 300 men who lapped I will save you all, and I will hand Midian over to you. Let all the others go home.”

  70. 사사기 7:9

That same night the LORD said to Gideon, “Get up and go down to attack the camp, because I have handed it over to you.

  71. 사사기 7:15

When Gideon heard the dream and what it meant, he bowed down in worship. Then he went back to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The LORD has handed the camp of Midian over to you.”

  72. 사사기 7:18

When I blow my horn, along with everyone who is with me, you are to blow your horns too, on every side of the camp, and shout, ‘For the LORD and for Gideon!’”

  73. 사사기 7:20

All three companies blew their horns and broke their jars. With the torches in their left hands and the horns for blowing in their right, they shouted, “A sword for the LORD and for Gideon!”

  74. 사사기 7:22

When the 300 blew their horns, the LORD turned every man’s sword against his comrade throughout the whole army. The army fled toward Zererah as far as Beth-shittah, and as far as the edge of Abel-meholah near Tabbath.

  75. 사사기 8:7

Gideon said, “Very well. When the LORD hands Zebah and Zalmunna over to me, I will thresh your flesh with thorns of the wilderness and with briers.”

  76. 사사기 8:19

He said, “They were my brothers, my own mother’s sons. As surely as the LORD lives, had you spared their lives, I would not kill you.”

  77. 사사기 8:23

But Gideon said to them, “I will not rule over you, and my son will not rule over you. The LORD will rule over you.”

  78. 사사기 8:34

The Israelites did not remember the LORD their God, who had rescued them from the power of all the enemies around them.

  79. 사사기 10:6

Once again the Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the LORD. They served the Baals and the Ashtaroth, the gods of Aram, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the Ammonites and the gods of the Philistines. They abandoned the LORD and no longer served him.

  80. 사사기 10:7

Then the anger of the LORD blazed against Israel, and he sold them into the power of the Philistines and into the power of the Ammonites.

  81. 사사기 10:10

Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD: “We have sinned against you, because we have abandoned our God and served the Baals.”

  82. 사사기 10:11

And the LORD said to the Israelites, “Did I not save you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites and the Philistines?

  83. 사사기 10:15

But the Israelites said to the LORD, “We have sinned. Deal with us in whatever way you think best, but please rescue us today.”

  84. 사사기 10:16

Then they got rid of the foreign gods that were among them and served the LORD, and he could bear Israel’s misery no longer.

  85. 사사기 11:9

Jephthah answered the elders of Gilead, “If you bring me back to make war on the Ammonites and the LORD hands them over to me, then I will be your head.”

  86. 사사기 11:10

The elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, “the LORD is witness between us. We will certainly do as you say.”

  87. 사사기 11:11

So Jephthah went back with the elders of Gilead, and the people set him over themselves as head and commander. And Jephthah repeated all his terms before the LORD at Mizpah.

  88. 사사기 11:21

Then the LORD, the God of Israel, gave Sihon and all his forces into Israel’s power, and Israel defeated them and took possession of the whole land of the Amorites who lived in that region.

  89. 사사기 11:23

So now that the LORD, the God of Israel, has driven out the Amorites before his people Israel, are you to take their land?

  90. 사사기 11:24

Do you not take possession of whatever your god Chemosh gives you? In the same way, we will possess all the land of those whom the LORD our God has driven out before us.

  91. 사사기 11:27

I have not wronged you, but you are wronging me by making war on me. Let the LORD, who is the Judge, settle the case today between the Israelites and the Ammonites.”

  92. 사사기 11:29

Then the Spirit of the LORD came on Jephthah. He went through Gilead and Manasseh, passed through Mizpah of Gilead, and from Mizpah of Gilead he went on against the Ammonites.

  93. 사사기 11:30

And Jephthah made a vow to the LORD: “If you will truly hand the Ammonites over to me,

  94. 사사기 11:31

then whoever or whatever comes out through the doors of my house to meet me as I come home safe from the Ammonites will be the LORD’s, and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”

  95. 사사기 11:32

So Jephthah crossed over to the Ammonites to fight them, and the LORD handed them over to him.

  96. 사사기 11:35

As soon as he saw her, he tore his clothes and cried, “Oh, my daughter! You have struck me down! You have become the one who brings ruin on me. I have given my word to the LORD, and I cannot go back on it.”

  97. 사사기 11:36

She said to him, “My father, you have given your word to the LORD. Do to me what you have promised, now that the LORD has brought justice for you on your enemies the Ammonites.”

  98. 사사기 12:3

When I saw that you would not save me, I took my life in my hands and crossed over to fight the Ammonites, and the LORD handed them over to me. So why have you come up against me today to fight with me?”

  99. 사사기 13:1

Once more the Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD gave them into the power of the Philistines for forty years.

  100. 사사기 13:3

The angel of the LORD appeared to the woman. “Listen,” he told her, “you are unable to conceive and have borne no children, but you will conceive and bear a son.

  101. 사사기 13:8

Then Manoah prayed to the LORD: “Please, my Lord, let the man of God whom you sent come to us again and teach us what we should do for the boy who is to be born.”

  102. 사사기 13:13

The angel of the LORD said to Manoah, “Your wife must be careful to do all that I told her.

  103. 사사기 13:15

Manoah said to the angel of the LORD, “Please stay with us, so that we can prepare a young goat for you to eat.”

  104. 사사기 13:16

The angel of the LORD answered Manoah, “Even if you hold me back, I will eat none of your food. If you want to prepare a burnt offering, offer it to the LORD.” For Manoah had not realized that he was the angel of the LORD.

  105. 사사기 13:17

Manoah then said to the angel of the LORD, “What is your name? We would like to honor you when your words come true.”

  106. 사사기 13:18

The angel of the LORD answered him, “Why do you ask about my name? It is wonderful.”

  107. 사사기 13:19

So Manoah took the young goat along with the grain offering and offered them to the LORD on the rock. Then, while Manoah and his wife watched, the angel did a wonderful thing.

  108. 사사기 13:20

As the flame rose from the altar toward the sky, the angel of the LORD went up in the flame from the altar. When Manoah and his wife saw it, they fell face down on the ground.

  109. 사사기 13:21

The angel of the LORD appeared no more to Manoah and his wife. Then Manoah realized that it had been the angel of the LORD.

  110. 사사기 13:23

But his wife answered him, “If the LORD had meant to kill us, he would not have accepted a burnt offering and a grain offering from our hands. He would not have shown us all these things, or let us hear such things now.”

  111. 사사기 13:24

In time the woman bore a son, and she named him Samson. As the boy grew up, the LORD blessed him.

  112. 사사기 13:25

Then the Spirit of the LORD began to drive him on at Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.

  113. 사사기 14:4

His father and mother did not know that this came from the LORD, for he was looking for an opportunity to act against the Philistines. At that time the Philistines were ruling over Israel.

  114. 사사기 14:6

The Spirit of the LORD rushed on him, and with nothing in his hands he ripped the lion apart as easily as one rips apart a young goat. Yet he told neither his father nor his mother what he had done.

  115. 사사기 14:19

Then the Spirit of the LORD rushed on him. He went down to Ashkelon, struck down thirty of their men, stripped them of their clothes, and gave the sets of clothing to those who had explained the riddle. Burning with anger, he went back up to his father’s house.

  116. 사사기 15:14

As he came to Lehi, the Philistines ran shouting to meet him. Then the Spirit of the LORD rushed on him. The ropes on his arms became like flax caught in a fire, and his bonds melted away from his hands.

  117. 사사기 15:18

He was very thirsty, and he called out to the LORD, “You have given this great victory by the hand of your servant. Now must I die of thirst and fall into the power of these uncircumcised men?”

  118. 사사기 16:20

Then she said, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!” He woke from his sleep and said, “I will go out as I did the other times and shake myself loose.” But he did not know that the LORD had left him.

  119. 사사기 16:28

Then Samson called out to the LORD: “Lord GOD, please remember me. Please give me strength just this once more, O God, so that with one blow I may pay the Philistines back for my two eyes.”

  120. 사사기 17:2

He said to his mother, “You know the about 28 pounds of silver that was taken from you, and how you pronounced a curse over it, and I heard you say it? Look, I have the silver. I am the one who took it.” His mother said, “May the LORD bless my son!”

  121. 사사기 17:3

When he gave the about 28 pounds of silver back to his mother, she said, “I solemnly dedicate this silver to the LORD from my own hand, for my son, to make a carved image and a cast idol. So now I will give it back to you.”

  122. 사사기 17:13

Then Micah said, “Now I know that the LORD will treat me well, because I have a Levite as my priest.”

  123. 사사기 18:6

The priest answered them, “Go in peace. The journey you are making is under the eye of the LORD.”

  124. 사사기 19:18

He answered, “We are traveling from Bethlehem in Judah to the far reaches of the hill country of Ephraim. That is my home. I had gone to Bethlehem in Judah, and I am on my way to the house of the LORD. But nobody here will take me into his home.

  125. 사사기 20:1

Then all the Israelites came out, from Dan to Beersheba and from the land of Gilead, and the congregation gathered as one before the LORD at Mizpah.

  126. 사사기 20:18

The Israelites set out and went up to Bethel, and they asked God, “Which of us should go up first to fight against the Benjaminites?” The LORD answered, “Judah is to go first.”

  127. 사사기 20:23

The Israelites went up and wept before the LORD until evening, and they asked the LORD, “Should we again go into battle against our brothers the Benjaminites?” The LORD answered, “Go up against them.”

  128. 사사기 20:26

Then all the Israelites, the whole army, went up to Bethel. They sat there weeping before the LORD, and they fasted that day until evening and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

  129. 사사기 20:27

And the Israelites asked the LORD. The ark of the covenant of God was kept there in those days,

  130. 사사기 20:28

and Phinehas son of Eleazar, son of Aaron, served before it. They asked, “Should we go out again to fight against our brothers the Benjaminites, or should we stop?” The LORD answered, “Go up, for tomorrow I will hand them over to you.”

  131. 사사기 20:35

The LORD defeated Benjamin before Israel, and that day the Israelites cut down 25,100 men of Benjamin, all of them armed with swords.

  132. 사사기 21:3

“The LORD, God of Israel,” they cried, “why has this happened in Israel? Why should Israel be missing one of its tribes today?”

  133. 사사기 21:5

Then the Israelites asked, “Is there anyone from all the tribes of Israel who did not come up with the assembly to the LORD?” For they had bound themselves by a solemn oath: whoever stayed away from the LORD at Mizpah must be put to death.

  134. 사사기 21:7

How can we provide wives for the men who are left, since we have sworn by the LORD not to give them any of our daughters in marriage?”

  135. 사사기 21:8

So they asked, “Who from the tribes of Israel did not come up to the LORD at Mizpah?” It turned out that not a single man from Jabesh-gilead had come into the camp to join the assembly.

  136. 사사기 21:15

The people grieved for Benjamin, because the LORD had torn a gap in the tribes of Israel.

  137. 사사기 21:19

Then they said, “Look, every year there is a festival of the LORD at Shiloh.” (Shiloh lies north of Bethel and south of Lebonah, east of the highway that runs up from Bethel to Shechem.)
